World Habitat Day
World Habitat Day
World Habitat Day, which began in 1986 with the theme Habitat is My Own, is celebrated on Monday, October 3 in Mexico. The theme of this year's theme is Everybody in the World
Securing the urban settlement of the urban population for the future.
This year's theme is World Habitat Day, which has been active for 24 consecutive years in different countries around the world at different time themes. Is that what we need to do collectively? Will be discussed. To this end, we need to identify potential cities within the next 10 to 30 years, and find solutions for our suburban cities. Otherwise, the end result will be immeasurable damage to urban settlements and urban development by climate change. This situation can be minimized through more eco-friendly planning implementation in urban planning. The Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Engineering Services, Construction, Housing and Common Amenities addressed the World Habitat Summit held in parallel to the recent Nagamu Purawara program in Sri Lanka. This shows the interest of policy makers as well as the rest of the world in the development of eco-friendly cities and housing.
The world is with us. Every human being there is a friend to one another. Therefore, in the event of a disaster facing each other, it is up to us to find solutions. Let's all line up for this together.
