MUSIC IS

Music is a form of media sound.  The basic elements of music are the interplay (which controls the rhythm and melody), the rhythm (it is associated with the concepts of rhythm and harmony), the dynamics and tone, and the acoustic state of the texture.  The word is derived from the Greek word muses.  Music written before 1600 did not specify what instruments were needed to play it.  Those who composed music a century ago did not always specify which line should be harmonized or played by instruments.  It also did not always specify in which syllable the composed music should be played.  Rhythm dates back as far as 1200.  Therefore, speculation abounds among modern musicians playing medieval and Renaissance music.  Renaissance musicians, however, must have been specifically trained in bidirectional banding, and may have acquired the extras needed to read music.

With the rise of music in the early 20th century, the re-creation of music as closely as possible to original music through historical writings or existing written and other factors greatly contributed to the presentation of early music today.

History of music

 Music has been pervasive throughout time and place in all cultures, past and present.  Today, scientists believe that modern humans originated in Africa 160,000 years ago.  About 50,000 years ago, these people began to leave Africa in search of all the continents suitable for habitation.  Scientists claim that music existed among the ancient peoples before they spread all over the world, because all the peoples of the world have a form of music, including very isolated tribal groups.  And music has existed for at least 50,000 years and originated in Africa and has since become an integral part of human life.

 Music in a culture is influenced by all other aspects of culture, including social and commercial organization and experience, climate and access to technology.  Thoughts and ideas expressed by music vary from place to place, from time to time, and attitudes toward musicians and composers.  Music history is a subfield of Gandharva science and history that studies music (especially Western art music) from a chronological perspective.

It is unknown at this time what he meant by "music".  Some believe that music originated with natural sounds.
